“Isn’t it odd how much fatter a book gets when you’ve read it several times? As if something were left between the pages every time you read it. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells… and then, when you look at the book again many years later, you find yourself there, too, a slightly younger self, slightly different, as if the book had preserved you like a pressed flower…both strange and familiar.”

~ Inkspell - Cornelia Funke

-_-
Training was really awpeawgop tiring as usual, or maybe my stamina just sucks cos I have to gasp for air after I run around a bit like I'm going to get an asthma attack and drop dead on the ground any time kind of feeling. And even though I ran like shit it probably wasn't of much help -_- Why am I so lousy!!! awegpaowiehgpahe...

After that went to SPCA to get the merchandises. It was like raining quite heavily then we went hysterical carrying the box of stuff through the rain no joke Jieqi was laughing like a rubber chicken.

Then we carried the stuff to Jieqi's house and waited for 4 days 5 nights for the bus to come and take us to Toa Payoh, then we MRT-ed to Orchard and shopped around and looked at office wear and took turns to try on the same blazer for 5 times and looked at shoes and bought food and etc wtc.

OMG I'M SO TIRED GONNA WATCH:

DDDDDD:

I am super tired!!!!!! All ready to fall into an eternal slumber like sleeping beauty but sleeping in the day makes me awake at night >: Ughuhuhuhuhuh I can't even play maplestory cos it's incompatible with my computer. At least I don't have blisters on my back.

I want to start applying sunblock already! According to wikipedia:
  1. Sunburn is actually the burning of your living tissue! Omg so your skin cells DIIIEEESS.
  2. Clothing is the best protection from sunburn hmm next time CCA wear long sleeve, track pants, gloves, and hat.
  3. UV-B light can cause direct DNA mutation!!!! OMG.
  4. And apparently sunburn increases risk of basal-cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, the former of which is mild.
  5. If sunblock is absorbed into the skin it will increase the risks of getting cancer due to the free radicals present, resulting in the most malignant form of cancer!!!! OMG.
  6. Eyes also can get sunburnt. Must check if contacts block UV. If not wear sunglasses.
Ok this makes me think twice about putting sunblock. I think wrapping yourself up is the best option, but then you'll get heat stroke. But I don't really like to be tanned it makes my skin look very thick.

I cannot find my chess set ughuhuhuh I'm so bored.

내가
그렇게-렇게 만만하니
사랑이 그렇게 만만하니
나와의 추억이 만만하니
그렇게 모든게 만만하니

Just came back from the coffeeshop! The food was unexpectedly nice I always thought that the coffeeshop's food was very yucky and I've never eaten there before wa ha ha ha ha new discovery berry good. I want to eat chilli crab >:

After PW meeting went to TLY's house to make ribbons as an effort to salvage all the poor animals in Singapore. The yellow floral ribbon is so ugly! Talked a lot of rubbish oh my gosh it was very mentally stimulating. And I made a lot of ribbons that will save a lot of animals.

I sympathise with homeless animals more than homeless men mostly because men are often so much more in control of their situation. I guess? Like cute hamsters who really just want to eat some sunflower seeds and run a bit every night but sometimes they just die cos of evil owners, that's quite cruel since they don't even have an ounce of opportunity to fight for their own welfare. And doggssss omg. I think dogs are the dearest animals ever, especially when you see those fierce-looking macho manly dogs snuggle up to their owners omggggg!!! <3

Besides animals need so little to be satisfied and grateful yet humans often have so many desires. If we consider ourselves to be higher beings, then it should be our responsibility to take care of animals too right. And helping animals and helping people are not two mutually exclusive things so we can help both at the same time!!

And sometimes pets are soooo dependent on their owners and some owners treat their pets like nothing and it really hurts to see those poor thing animals getting abandoned I think it's like getting abandoned by your mummy and daddy since their owners were like the world to them. Boohoohoohoo.

I guess at the end of the day we should just know that whether as animals or humans nobody(or animal) has it easy and we should all be grateful for what we have. Case closed!

Was quite fun I guess but it was too short and everything passed in a blur so I can't quite remember what happened.

Haha okay. So after that we went shopping around for a bit and then I headed for tampines.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUAH SHUFENG.

Goofed around for a while then took 969 home <-- that bus is amazingly fast cos I reached home in like 20 minutes.

Then went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night sneezing away until I couldn't take it anymore, so I took my blanket and slept in the living room.

Must. Major. Work. Out. Today.

The story began on Friday...

Firstly, PE was very fun cos all the guys went to play soccer, leaving one big, whole, empty, court to the 4 of us (the last one went to Malaysia). We then had the tennis match of the century, probably the most exciting one that will take place in HC.

After that I can't remember what happened.

Then I went home and bathed and was going to set out for school. Conflict (I) took place here when I didn't want to tie up my hair cos I major conditioned it and it was like so smooth and everything but it was too long plus the back looks like crap cos the person don't wanna cut a V shape for me so I tied it up and went out. Now thinking of cutting it short again but I want it to be very very very long by end of next year so that won't happen!!!!!!

After that I took 852 and Conflict (II) took place when it started raining and the air-con was too cold and I started to shiver. Like the teeth-chattering kind, like how Jack shivered when he was freezing in the cold water after Titanic sank cos he was noble and sacrificial and allowed Rose to get on the floating plank instead. The excruciating cold was exacerbated by the fact that I had to do some grocery shopping at NTUC, so with great courage I held on to the two bottles of 1L milk at 0 degrees celsius while frantically looking for the stupid ruffles and kinderjoy which were never found so I just bought some cheapskate imitation potato chips.

Then I reached school just in time for the campfire candlefire, hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha. Was every bit of the awkwardness!!!! After campfire was night walk, which was really scary at the start. Yinhwee kept wriggling on the floor and Jieqi would comb her hair like an autistic kid and I'll scream at people and tell them to come back but sadly only a few people screamed.

After campfire went back to the classroom to play computer and finish off episode 8 of Minami Shineyo, then was about to start a Harry Potter marathon but fell asleep. It started raining in the middle of the night and it was really cold, especially the floor. Towards the middle of the night I was just shivering on the floor, which was very very very very very cold to the extent that my bones ached and I couldn't move D: I didn't know there was a drill in the middle of the night but I remember waking up due to some noise then I went to take my ipod and put music on then I went back to sleep and IT WAS VERY COLD.

Woke up in the morning and moped around, ate hello pandas and maggie mee then left at 10 for HC thinking there was PW. Ok but very soon I realised the potentially fatal mistake I made and headed home to sleep. By the way, this is like saturday already.

The first thing I did when I reached home was to quickly bathe and sleep since I didn't sleep much the previous night... Woke up at 3pm by Emma asking me if I want sausage, chicken or sushi. Then quickly dressed and headed for Upper Seletar Reservoir. But because of the rain the picnic had to be halted and we headed for Night Safari for our scary night.

Which reminds me this few days why all so horrifying ah Scream and Night walk and Night Safari. Yah, anyway, so we waited under the shelter which was sheltered by money plants. I think it's for blocking sunshine which is why when it started raining the 5 of us had to hide under Sherlene's umbrella very pathetically. But despite the rain we decided to eat some drumsticks, trust me it was a gorgeous sight.

Then the bus came and I flinged my chicken bone away like an ex-boyfriend and we all ran frantically towards the bus cos the uncle didn't see us. So much for all the desperate shielding from the rain cos in the end we all got drenched anyway.

Ok this post is getting long i'm getting tired liao.

Anyway so we reached Night Safari and had the picnic standing at a shelter. Great! Basically we just stood there with plastic bags in our arms and started eating the cake and everything LOL.

After that we went to queue for the tram, took a tram ride, saw a lot of animals, then went for the train of terror which wasn't very terrifying. The wind was good, and the smell was nice when it wasn't masked by the smell of petrol or pig shit. Very nice! I remember last time I went I didn't really see that many animals? There was the humongous guinea pig thing and the deers and the black thing that looks like an elephant and elephants! I saw the elephants eyes really up close and it was really intriguing and stuff! Hyenas are scary and evil-looking, strange cos I always thought hyenas were birds cos I didn't know mammals were capable of making screaming sounds. Since we took the ride twice basically we got too see most of the animals really closely, good!

Then went home and sleep and stuff.

After freezing on the bus,  sleeping on the floor and getting drenched by the rain I woke up at 2pm this afternoon with a body temperature of 400 degrees celcius. Exciting!

Bye BBQ for dinner~

So far my results have been far from encouraging but I'm quite fine with it since I know how much I studied and learnt (actually quite a lot lor).

I guess for JC how much you get pretty much depends on how much effort is put in and luck or intelligence or a good memory won't really help. Much.

Feeling soooooooooper tired now cos of soccer + lion dance + all the crazy lunges I did yesterday.

This is very tragic a few days ago I had a tiny paper cut on my finger so I innocently put on a bandaid cos it was kind of painful and I couldn't write after that I took it off then yesterday there were blisters on my finger and I thought I scalded my finger cos I make a lot of coffee but today when I got home the blisters adopted the silhouette of a plaster and I had an epiphanic realisation and flashbacked to a few days ago -- the fateful paper cut and the fateful plaster (who pretended to be innocent --> faux-naif [sorry can't resist]).

This is awful I thought I'm only allergic to those plasters for muscle aches but looks like any innocent little plaster is enough for an allergic reaction to take place with rate determined by k=[plaster].

Fuuuuuuuuuu-

-lish I am indeed.

I feel very disturbed now I don't think I can study for Maths. Just kidding! ^ ^

The air-con is currently at twentytwo degrees but my palms can't stop sweating!

Maybe somewhere along the way I have kind of forgotten how they sounded (you know, SHINee, SS501, 2PM, blah blah blah) but listening to them brings back amazing memories so I'm never going to forget these 5 amazing people that kind of changed my life and stayed with me through the hardest times.

It was raining today and an auntie offered to share her umbrella with me when I was crossing the road! It feels really good to be receiving such acts of kindness especially when the whole Jaebeom controversy was kind of making me lose faith. And she walked me to the nearest shelter too :D

Then the train home was really packed, so I had to stand at the edge... and the door hit my face when it closed! Ouchhhh -__- It was too painful for me to feel embarrassed. My whole eyebrow almost came off.
